Recent developments in engine technology have resulted in the installation of upgraded brake systems to cope with the higher demands.Where in the past simple hydraulic brakes were sufficient, nowadays the demand is for ABS (anti wheel-locking systems). ASR (anti slip control) is also frequently fitted to enhance environmental protection and road safety.
